The foundation of the OnPoint Learning Suite is designed around several existing and emerging e-learning industry standards thus ensuring that all captured content can work across different vendor platforms and applications. And, because most of OnPoint's core technologies are based on available open source tools, customers can choose from several low cost platform alternatives (e.g., Linux, My SQL database) that deliver superior price/performance results for customers without previous investments in enterprise class servers, databases and application suites (Sun Solaris or Microsoft Windows-based servers).

Customers with these existing platforms can still install the OnPoint Learning Suite within their existing enterprises and maintain environmental consistencies as needed.
