So how does it work?
- Step (1) First, content authors create an audio file and store it in the OnPoint LMS/LCMS database. Even existing files like a PDF document can be converted using text to audio conversion.
- Step (2) Next, simply setup your CellCast, defining when (date/time) you want to activate your CellCast session, what the SMS notification message will include, and how long (duration) you want to keep the audio file active. Then assign any test or feedback questions you wish to include, assign your users, and that's it!
- Step (3) Users receive the SMS text notifications, call in to listen to the audio podcast, and interact via their phone's keypad if there is a test or survey response. CellCast playback includes features such as pause, hold, reverse, fast forward, and bookmark.
- Step (4) Call tracking data includes the learner's call time, number origin, duration, and any IVR-type response data, and the data is recorded in the user's record. OnPoint Managers can access this data for reporting the progress/completion of assigned CellCasts.
Performance Manager facilitates review and tracking of CellCasts.
