Take the mobile experience on a smartphone to the next level with CellCast Mobile Widgets! In addition to all the voice and message-based features supported on basic cellphones, the CellCast Mobile Widget can receive and manage mobile web content, PDF files, rich media clips like videos, MP3 and WAV audio, even Flash content (on select smartphones) and interactive PowerPointTM presentations with included animations and transitions. Widgets allow mobile learners to take best advantage of the media and file management capabilities of their “pocket computers” providing an improved working experience.
Supported smartphones include RIM BlackBerry® wireless handhelds, Apple iPhone® and iPod® touch media players, all Microsoft Windows Mobile® devices, Google Android® smartphones and Nokia Symbian®/S60 smartphones. CellCast also provides support for popular netbook ultraportable computers. Assignments and content can be accessed “over-the-air” or automatically synched down to the mobile device from the CellCast Portal using RSS feeds and secure push technologies. All results are uploaded into OnPoint’s CellCast Manager platform for detailed tracking and reporting. And localization support is provided in nine different languages.
For larger customers, the CellCast Portal can work with directory services like LDAP and Microsoft Active Directory® as well as integrate with other core platforms and line-of-business applications like an enterprise Learning Management System, sales force automation application, or typical HRIS, ERP or CRM platforms.
